Ground Burial

Traditionally, in-ground burial has been the choice of many families. We provide families with in-ground burial options, including large family estate lots, multiple space lots and single grave spaces. Depending on the needs of the family, there are several areas throughout the cemetery to choose.

Cremation Options

Oahu Cemetery Association maintains a variety of facilities for the interment of cremated remains.  Family members may be present to initiate the cremation process. We have a full selection of urns for placement in our columbarium niches or ground plots and urn gardens. For those families who desire it, we’re also able to combine in-ground burial for both casketed and cremated remains.

Cremation niches are available in our columbarium or our outdoor small in-ground lots accommodate up to 24 urns.

We also provide a large variety of headstones for families to choose from.

Mausoleum & Columbarium

Mausoleums and Columbariums allow for above ground entombment in either community buildings or specially designed family structures. At one time the advantages of mausoleum entombment were available only to royalty, the famed or the very wealthy. Well-known mausoleums include the Taj Mahal, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and Egyptian Pyramids. Mausoleum and Columbarium property is now affordable to most everyone.

The existing mausoleum and columbarium at Oahu Cemetery Association is a community mausoleum with crypt space for single caskets, and cremation niches which can hold one to eight cremations urns. Families may opt to have a glass front on the niche, which allows them to place a photo or personal memento in the niche. This memento may be placed at the time of service or later at the convenience of the family.

Our experienced staff can help you arrive at the perfect decision for you, and your family. Call us at (808) 538-1538 to discuss the wide variety of permanent memorialization options, or contact us via the contact form.
